Accountant
Keep the books for a growing export business: day-to-day accounts, payments, export invoicing and monthly reporting from our back office in Seeduwa.
What you will do
- Maintain day-to-day accounts, ledgers and bank reconciliations
- Process supplier payments, payroll inputs and petty cash
- Prepare export invoices and track customer receipts in foreign currency
- Prepare monthly management accounts and cash-flow reports
- Handle VAT and statutory filings and support the external auditors
- Keep financial records organised and up to date
What we are looking for
- AAT qualified, or part-qualified CA, CIMA or ACCA
- Experience in a full-time accounting role, ideally in trading, export or manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Sri Lankan tax and statutory requirements
- Confident with accounting software and Excel
- Good written English
