Dispatch Supervisor
Run day-to-day dispatch at our wood-chipping plant in Dambulla, making sure every load leaves on time, to specification and with the right documents.
What you will do
- Plan and supervise daily loading of wood chips and biomass products for local and export orders
- Check quantities, weights and product condition against each order before dispatch
- Prepare and keep dispatch records, delivery notes and weighbridge tickets
- Coordinate with transport providers and the logistics team on vehicle schedules
- Supervise loading staff and keep the yard safe and organised
- Report stock levels and dispatch volumes to operations management
What we are looking for
- Experience supervising dispatch, stores or loading in a plant, warehouse or yard
- Good record keeping and basic computer skills (Excel or similar)
- Able to lead a team and work to shipment deadlines
- Able to work on site in Dambulla, with flexibility for early or late loadings
- Sinhala required; working English preferred
